When I think of benches at a dining table I am immediately brought back to Sunday afternoon picnics in the park. The bench however has come a long way and now plays an important part in the design of the eating area. Whether formal or informal bench seating typically allows more people to sit at a table (compared to one that just has chairs) and can bring important stylistic elements to the overall aesthetic of a dining area.
As a divider. In an open floor plan creating small zones can give a room a more orderly feeling and be a more efficient use of space. Bordering a seating group or TV nook with a bench helps define that zone without creating a visual wall that might shrink the space. Plus a backless bench can be used from any direction allowing it to bridge different seating areas (or become an additional table for snacks or festive supplies).
As a sofa table. That same bench that’s on hand to add dining seating or to hold party spillover can double as a slim sofa table during the day holding books decorative planters and small storage boxes. It gives an open floor plan a visual anchor for the seating and functional but beautiful “shelf” space.
Choosing the right outdoor furniture seat cushion is very important. The cushions are available in different colours materials and brands. There are a few important things that should be considered before buying an outdoor seat cushion. The first point is to decide the budget as the cushions are available in different price ranges. By deciding the budget the materials can be selected strictly within the budget.
